In a testament to Lucknow’s burgeoning development, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hailed the city’s progress, stating it embodies the vision cherished by the late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. His remarks came during an event on Monday at the Jupiter Hall of Indira Gandhi Pratishthan.

Speaking at a program organised at Jupiter Hall of Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, he added that the 104-kilometer-long and 8-lane Lucknow Outer Ring Road, also known as Kisan Path, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated from Gurugram, would solve the problem of traffic jam in Lucknow. In addition, the Green Corridor, built by Lucknow Development Authority and will connect Shaheed Path via the cut near Gomti River, is set to ease traffic congestion even further.

Moreover, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and CM Yogi Adityanath jointly inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 206 development projects worth ₹3,666 crore, showcasing a commitment to comprehensive growth.

The inauguration of the Defense Technology and Testing Center by DRDO and Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University further underscores Lucknow’s trajectory toward becoming a hub of innovation and healthcare excellence.

New Projects Propel Lucknow’s Growth Trajectory
During the event, CM Yogi emphasised that the completion of the first phase of the Green Corridor would mark a milestone in the city’s development journey. Notably, the inauguration of the BrahMos Missile Center and other initiatives promises to create numerous employment opportunities, particularly for the youth.

Inaugurated Projects:

• Intrastate Transmission Project in Mohanlalganj
• 3,800 Prime Minister’s residences in Sector-I of Vasant Kunj Yojana
• Bridge on Gaugat under Green Corridor
• UP Darshan Park (Waste to Wonder)
• Various healthcare facilities, including a Super Orthopedic Center and Advanced Ophthalmology Building

Foundation Stone Laid for:

• Underpass at Awadh intersection
• 4-leg rail overhead bridge on railway call number 188, special at Anupganj
• Widening of Nishatganj Bandha for direct road connectivity
• 100-bedded critical care block at Sarojini Nagar
