The Odisha government has issued a fresh administrative reshuffle involving seven IAS officers, with changes made across district administrations and key departments at the state Secretariat.

The latest orders include the appointment of new Collectors and District Magistrates for Nabarangpur and Nuapada, along with new responsibilities in the Chief Minister’s Office, Fisheries & Animal Resources Development, General Administration & Public Grievances, Health & Family Welfare and other administrative positions.

Maheswar Swain Moves to Chief Minister’s Office

Dr Maheswar Swain (IAS: 2014) has been transferred from his position as Collector & District Magistrate, Nabarangpur.

He has been appointed Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister, moving from district administration to a key Secretariat-level assignment.

Anya Das Named Nabarangpur Collector

With Swain moving out, Anya Das (IAS: 2019) has been appointed Collector & District Magistrate of Nabarangpur.

Das was earlier serving as Deputy Secretary to Government in the Health & Family Welfare Department. Her new assignment brings her into a frontline district administration role.

Madhusudan Dash Gets GA & PG Assignment

Madhusudan Dash (IAS: 2014) has also been shifted from district administration.

Dash, who was serving as Collector & District Magistrate, Nuapada, has been appointed Additional Secretary to Government in the General Administration & Public Grievances (GA & PG) Department.
