The Uttar Pradesh government has carried out a major administrative reshuffle, transferring 15 IAS officers and 23 PCS officers across key departments, development authorities and districts.

The latest changes cover important areas including Geology and Mining, Medical Education, Panchayati Raj, development authorities and district administration. The reshuffle comes shortly after the government transferred 10 IAS officers on September 20.
Mala Srivastava Relieved of Additional Mining Charge
Mala Srivastava has been relieved of the additional responsibility of Director, Geology and Mining. She will continue to serve as Secretary, Geology and Mining.

Ujjwal Kumar, who was serving as Managing Director of the Uttar Pradesh Medical Supplies Corporation, has been appointed Special Secretary and Director, Geology and Mining.
J Reebha has been appointed Managing Director, Uttar Pradesh Medical Supplies Corporation. She was earlier serving as Special Secretary, Geology and Mining, along with the charge of Additional Director, Geology and Mining.

Changes in Panchayati Raj and PCDF
The government has also made changes in the Panchayati Raj setup. Srihari Pratap Shahi, who was serving as Additional Chief Executive Officer of UPEIDA, has been appointed Director, Panchayati Raj.
The department’s incumbent Director, Amit Kumar Singh, has been moved to the post of Managing Director, PCDF.
Medical Education Department Gets New Officers
Several changes have been made in the Medical Education department as part of the reshuffle.
Sachin Kumar Singh, formerly Additional Director at the Uttar Pradesh State Agricultural Produce Markets Board, has been appointed Special Secretary, Medical Education.
Prakash Bindu, who was serving as Managing Director, PCDF, has been appointed Secretary, Medical Education.
Other appointments include Archana Gaharwar as Registrar of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, and Reena Singh as Registrar of King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow.
Chandra Bhushan has been posted as Additional Director, Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration and Management.
District-Level Administrative Changes
The reshuffle also includes changes in several district-level positions.
Dhruv Khadia, earlier Chief Development Officer (CDO), Jaunpur, has been appointed CDO, Mau, replacing Vivek Kumar Srivastava, who has been posted as Member (Judicial), Board of Revenue, Prayagraj.
Narendra Bahadur Singh, formerly Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue), Lakhimpur Kheri, has been appointed CDO, Jaunpur.
Rakesh Kumar Singh has been posted as Additional Commissioner, Housing Development Board.
23 PCS Officers Also Transferred
Alongside the IAS reshuffle, the state government has transferred 23 PCS officers. The changes include postings at the levels of Additional District Magistrate, Sub-Divisional Magistrate and Additional Municipal Commissioner, among others.
Chandresh Kumar has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer, Deoria, while Gyanendra Vikram will serve as ADM (Judicial), Sant Kabir Nagar.

Lavi Tripathi has been appointed ADM (Administration), Saharanpur, and Rajesh Kumar has been posted as Additional Municipal Commissioner, Meerut.
Pushpendra Patel has been appointed ADM (Administration), Rampur. Arpit Gupta has been posted as Registrar, Banda Agricultural University, while Vijay Shankar will serve as Registrar, Mahatma Buddha Agricultural University, Kushinagar.
More PCS Postings Announced
The latest orders also assign new responsibilities to several other PCS officers.
Abhinav Kannaujiya has been appointed Joint Milk Commissioner, while Brijesh Kumar Singh has been posted as Secretary, Meerut Development Authority.
Other appointments include Shivani Singh as ADM (Namami Gange), Jalaun; Prem Chandra Maurya as ADM (Finance and Revenue), Pratapgarh; Ramji Mishra as ADM (Finance and Revenue), Lucknow; Rajendra Kumar as ADM (Judicial), Hardoi; and Prafull Kumar Tripathi as ADM (Administration), Moradabad.
The latest reshuffle is part of the Uttar Pradesh government’s continuing administrative changes, with officers being moved across departments, development authorities and district-level assignments to fill key positions and realign responsibilities.
