Inderjeet Singh, a 2010-batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre, has been empanelled for appointment as Joint Secretary at the Centre.
Singh is currently on central deputation and serving as Director in the Ministry of Culture, where he is associated with the Gyan Bharatam Mission.
Handling Gyan Bharatam Mission
The Gyan Bharatam Mission is a flagship initiative focused on surveying, documenting, conserving, digitising and disseminating India’s manuscript heritage.

Singh’s current assignment involves overseeing work related to the mission as part of his responsibilities in the Ministry of Culture.
Experience in Rajasthan Administration
A native of Punjab, Singh has held several important positions during his career in Rajasthan.
His previous assignments include Managing Director, RIICO; Commissioner, Department of Information Technology; Director, Local Bodies, and District Collector in Jodhpur, Alwar, Chittorgarh and Dungarpur.

Family Also Serving at Centre
Singh’s wife, Neha Giri, is also a 2010-batch IAS officer and is currently serving as Director in the Ministry of Minority Affairs on central deputation.
The empanelment makes Inderjeet Singh eligible for consideration for Joint Secretary-level assignments at the Centre.
