A. Jayathilak, the incumbent Chairman of Spices Board under the Ministry of Commerce, GoI and a 1991 batch IAS officer of Kerala cadre has been given an additional charge of Chairman, Rubber Board. It has been extended for a period of three months beyond February 28, 2015.
Jayathilak was once known for his competence in tourism sector. He was especially borrowed for augmentation and image building of Chhattisgarh Tourism immediately after the formation of Chhattisgarh State.
