Government of India brings e-Governance at the doorstep of common man

The Government of India is implementing the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) with the vision to make all Government services accessible to the common man in his locality, through common services delivery outlets. In this regard, the government has identified 27 Central, State and Integrated Mission Mode Projects (MMPs) have been identified under the NeGP to ensure availability of e-Government services.

Gujarat has received awards in four categories, best e-Governed state, best e-Governed Department (health and family welfare), best e-Governance G2B project for e-Procurement and also for VAT Informations System.
