The Haryana Government is introducing an ‘e-post sanctioning system’ to further streamline the process of sanctioning of new posts as well as surrender of existing posts in different state departments.This system is a part of an Integrated Financial and Human Resource Management System (IFHRMS) of the state government, under which various modules like online budget allocation, monitoring and analysis system, e-salary, e-pension and e-gras etc are already being run through Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs), Budget Controlling Officers (BCOs), Budget Controlling Authorities (BCAs) as well as citizens.
The new system will enable the departments to view the details of all existing sanctioned posts and their working strength in various offices under their control. This will thus enable the department to take an informed decision while making any demand for creation, abolition or transfer of any post. The system will also help the department in estimating the monthly or annual financial implications of the proposal. Whenever a department wants to create a new post, its requisite demand will be sent through the proper route or directly by the BCA to the Finance department after obtaining necessary administrative approval through the administrative department.
At present, the e-post sanctioning system is being run on a pilot basis in the Department of Treasuries and Accounts.
