In a significant reshuffle, several senior police officers have been transferred across Jammu and Kashmir. Among the transferees are a Deputy Inspector General (DIG), two Superintendents of Police (SPs), and five Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs).

Senior IPS officer and DIG of Prisons, Vikas Gupta (2010 batch, AGMUT cadre), has been reassigned as the Deputy Inspector General of Police in the Anti-Corruption Bureau, J&K.

Additionally, SPs Amit Verma (JKPS) and Surinder Kumar (JKPS) have been transferred to the Anti-Corruption Bureau with immediate effect. The reshuffle also includes DySPs Narinder Singh, Shwetambri Sharma, Davinder Singh, Mudasir Tramboo, and Imran Malik, who have all been posted to the Anti-Corruption Bureau.
