Dhruv Kohli Appointed as Vice President & Country Head – India at HCLSoftware

In a move that reflects HCLSoftware’s accelerated push in India’s enterprise-software landscape, Dhruv Kohli has been appointed Vice President & Country Head – India. He will spearhead market strategy and business operations at a time when organisations across regulated and digital-first sectors are increasing their investment in secure, AI-driven and cloud-native software platforms.

Under his leadership, Kohli will be responsible for the full spectrum of the company’s India business, including go-to-market planning, product adoption, enterprise delivery, channel and partner engagement, customer lifecycle management and industry alliances. His mandate includes strengthening relationships with strategic accounts and expanding the company’s presence across priority sectors.

Kohli brings a strong background in enterprise software, digital modernisation and customer success leadership, having worked with clients operating in high-compliance and high-availability environments. His experience in scaling technology portfolios and building partner ecosystems is expected to support HCLSoftware’s ambition to accelerate domestic growth.

The appointment also aligns with the company’s broader strategy to deepen its foothold in the Indian market. India continues to witness rising demand for cybersecurity solutions, AI-powered data platforms, cloud-native applications and industry-specific software as businesses modernise operations and digital infrastructure. By reinforcing senior leadership locally, HCLSoftware aims to provide enterprises with stronger on-ground support, shorter deployment cycles and more tailored offerings.

Operating from India, Kohli will lead efforts to expand solution delivery centres, strengthen partner-led growth and build customer programmes focused on adoption, optimisation and long-term value realisation. The company expects this leadership integration to help organisations transition to newer software models while ensuring compliance, security and operational continuity.

The move positions HCLSoftware to scale more aggressively in India’s evolving enterprise-technology space and signals a renewed emphasis on customer-centric growth, product innovation and industry-aligned digital transformation.
