In a series of recent administrative appointments, the Delhi government has appointed senior IAS officer A Anbarasu as Principal Secretary of the Home Department. He will also serve as the Principal Secretary of the Public Works Department (PWD) and assume the role of CEO of the Delhi Jal Board. Anbarasu is a 1996-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer.
Meanwhile, the Haryana government has entrusted senior IAS Vineet Garg, a 1991-batch officer, with the additional charge of the Additional Chief Secretary of the Excise & Taxation Department. Garg was previously serving as ACS in the School Education Department.
In Himachal Pradesh, IAS officers Saurabh Jassal and Vinay Kumar, both from the 2018 batch, have been assigned additional roles. Jassal will take charge as the Director of the State Audit Department, while Kumar will serve as Special Secretary to the Chief Minister.
