Jharkhand: Manjunath Bhajantri appointed Deputy Commissioner Ranchi, Check List

With the upcoming Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha elections, the state government has initiated a bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring several IAS officers. IAS Manjunath Bhajantri has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Ranchi. Utkarsh Gupta, a 2017-batch IAS officer who previously served as the Director of Information Technology, will now serve as the DC of Latehar. The Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms, and Official Language has released an official notification detailing the reshuffle.
Key Appointments:
- Manjunath Bhajantri (2011 batch): Now DC of Ranchi, previously CEO of Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS) and MGNREGA Commissioner.
- Utkarsh Gupta (2017 batch): Appointed DC of Latehar, previously Director of Information Technology.
- Shashi Prakash Singh (2017 batch): Appointed DC of Jamtara, previously Director of Primary Education.
- Pawan Kumar (2011 batch): Appointed divisional commissioner in-charge of North Chotanagpur division (Hazaribagh).
- Ranjit Kumar Lal (2014 batch): Appointed Managing Director, Jharkhand Urja Utpadan Nigam Limited.
- Manish Kumar (2018 batch): Appointed DC of Pakur, previously DDC East Singhbhum.
