Amgothu Sri Ranga Naik appointed as Jt.Commissioner, GST, Mumbai

In a minor bureaucratic arrangement, the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government on Wednesday transferred a couple of IAS officers in the state. The government has appointed IAS Amgothu Sri Ranga Naik as Jt. Commissioner, GST, Mumbai.


An IAS of 2009 batch, Amgothu Sri Ranga Naik was previously holding the charge of Jt.CEO, MIDC (Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation). He will be replaced by Anil Bhandari, IAS (2010) Jt. Commissioner, GST, Mumbai who has been posted as Jt.CEO, MIDC, Mumbai.

Recently, Brijesh Singh, a senior IPS officer, has recently been appointed principal secretary in the office of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, which is a significant milestone. Being the first senior IPS officer to be appointed to the Chief Minister’s Office recently, Singh’s appointment is significant.
