Following the official order from the Government of Gujarat on January 22, Arun Kumar Sharma (IPS 1987-Batch) has been promoted to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP). Sharma has been posted as DGP, Prevention of Atrocities on SC/ST and Weaker Sections.
