Amid President’s Rule in Manipur, the state government has issued major administrative reshuffles, transferring nine senior police officers and five IAS and Indian Forest Service officers, according to official notifications released on Wednesday.

- Naorem Praveen (IAS, 2012 batch), Director of Manipur Renewable Energy Development Agency, has been assigned additional charge as Secretary of Education – Schools.
- Anurag Bajpai (IFS, 1994 batch), Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Additional Chief Secretary (Textiles, Commerce, and Industries), has been given the additional charge of Tribal Affairs and Hills.
Key Police Transfers
- Shivanand Surve (IPS), Superintendent of Police (SP), Senapati district, has been reassigned as SP of Thoubal district.
- Th Vikramjit Singh (IPS, 2004 batch), SP of Kakching, has been transferred as Commandant of the 10th IRB.
- Dharmendra Kumar (IPS), SDPO of Lamlai, has been promoted to SP of Senapati district.
- Priyadarshini Laishram (MPS), SP (Immigration), has been posted as SP of Kakching.
- S Ibomcha (IPS), in charge of SP Thoubal, has been reassigned as Commanding Officer of the 6th IRB, with an additional charge as Commando Unit SP.
- Mohammed Zaib Zakir (IPS) has been moved from his position as Senior SO to the Director General of Police to take over as SP of Jiribam district.
