7 IAS transferred in Maharashtra; Deepak Kumar Meena made Joint Commissioner for State Tax, Mumbai

The Maharashtra government has transferred seven IAS officers across various departments to enhance governance and efficiency.

  • Rajendra Nimbalkar (IAS, 2007 batch) has been appointed Managing Director of SARATHI, Pune. He was previously serving as MD of MSSIDC, Mumbai.
  • Sanjay Yadav (IAS, 2009 batch), currently Collector of Mumbai City, has been appointed as State Project Director for Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Mumbai.
  • Dr. Rajendra Bharud (IAS, 2013 batch), who was Commissioner of TRTI, Pune, has been transferred as Project Director of RUSA (Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan), Higher & Technical Education Department, Mumbai.
  • Deepak Kumar Meena (IAS, 2013 batch), currently Additional Tribal Commissioner, Thane, will now serve as Joint Commissioner for State Tax, Mumbai.
  • Sameer Kurtkoti (IAS, 2013 batch) has been appointed as Commissioner of TRTI, Pune, replacing Dr. Bharud.
  • Mahesh Awhad (IAS, 2015 batch), who was MD of Haffkine Bio-Pharma Corporation, Mumbai, has been appointed as CEO of Maharashtra Medical Goods Procurement Authority, Mumbai, overseeing medical procurement for the state.
  • Keerthi Kiran Pujar (IAS, 2018 batch), previously CEO of Zilla Parishad, Ratnagiri, has been transferred as Collector of Dharashiv, taking on key local governance responsibilities.
