The Government of West Bengal issued transfer and posting orders of Devi Prasad Karanam (IAS 2008-Batch) on January 22. Karanam has been given the additional charge of Excise Commissioner. He is currently serving as Commissioner, Commercial Tax and also holds the additional charge of Managing Director, Biswa Bangla Marketing Corporation Ltd.
