As part of the training, the revenue staff of the district, including tahsildars, revenue inspectors, and village administrative officers. The objective of the training is to train them on providing various revenue documents such as income certificate, community certificate and domicile certificates electronically.

Currently, the people have to visit the taluk office to get various certificates, which results in income loss and repeated travel to the taluk. In order to overcome this, the government has introduced the e-District programme, as part of the Mission Mode Project. Once the programme is implemented, people can get these certificates from their nearest common services centre. According to the District Collector, P Senthilkumar, “to improve the service delivery, 24 common service centres would be setup across the district, including three taluk offices”.
