In order to overcome this, the government has introduced the e-District programme, as part of the Mission Mode Project. Once the programme is implemented, people can get these certificates from their nearest common services centre. According to the District Collector, P Senthilkumar, “to improve the service delivery, 24 common service centres would be setup across the district, including three taluk offices”.
