The China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) has issued the E-bank Service Management Measures and the e-Bank Safety Evaluation Guide and will formally put them into force on March 1, 2006.

Measures define e-Banking and its business ranges and stipulates the conditions, requirements and procedures for financial institutions to apply for e-Banking service and how to alter their service category.
