The Government of India has approved the Capacity Building Scheme for taking National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) forward across the country in all the states & UTs.
ICT in schools would be such that, were there are a number of facilities lacking, if you are able to deploy ICT, you may be able to perhaps, permeate better into the minds of the students with the use of ICT.
Subodh leads the team that is responsible for marketing and deployment of private networks for public safety, defence, railways and enterprise customers. This includes two way radio networks as well as networks based on wireless broadband technologies for campus and municipal Wi-Fi, point to point and point to multi-point connectivity. Subodh is also introducing defence, transportation (railways, airports, seaports etc) and enterprise customers to state of the art communications technologies.
The Government of India has opted for WiMax technology to connect rural India for the common service centres, as part of the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP).
This year, the National e-Governance is going to expand with the introduction of two new categories. In addition to six categories, the Government of India decided to award exemplary work in a ‘focus sector’ which would be selected every year.
