
The Gujarat government recently announced the transfer and posting of two IAS officers. PD Palsana, the Managing Director of Gujarat State Medical Service Corporation Ltd., has been appointed as the Joint Secretary of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare & Co-operation. In his place, Dr. Navnath Kondiba Gavhane, the Additional Rural Development Commissioner, will take over as the MD.
Additionally, Dr. Navnath will also hold the additional charge as Chief Personnel Officer of the Commissioner of Health, Medical Services & Medical Education.
In another development, the Punjab government issued posting and transfer orders for four IAS officers and a PCS officer. Rakhee Gupta Bhandari, the Principal Secretary of Parliamentary Affairs, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of Parliamentary Affairs and will relieve Gurkirat Kirpal Singh of his additional charge as Parliamentary Secretary of Tourism and Cultural Affairs. Gurkirat Kirpal Singh, who held multiple positions including Secretary of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Secretary of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, and Secretary of Mines and Geology, has been posted as Administrative Secretary of Home Affairs and Justice.

Priyank Bharti has been appointed as the Secretary of Technical Education and Industrial Training, replacing Seema Jain. Diprava Lakra has been posted as Secretary/Finance and Managing Director of Punjab Infrastructure Development Board, relieving Mohammad Tayyab of the additional charge. Pardeep Singh Bains has been assigned the role of Deputy Secretary of Revenue and Rehabilitation.

The official statement also confirmed that Seema Jain will continue working as the Special Chief Secretary of School Education in Punjab.
