Reliance Jio partners with Huawei for 4G devices

reliance-jio-infocommReliance Jio Infocomm, which plans to launch 4G service this year in around 5,000 towns and cities, has signed a pact with Chinese firm Huawei for sourcing required devices.


According to report, the agreement for 4G devices includes smartphones, tablets and mifi dongles.

The shipments dates are yet to be confirmed.

Reliance Jio has also signed a $750 million loan backed by Korea Trade Insurance Corporation (K-sure). The loan is guaranteed by RIL and will be primarily used to finance goods and services procured from Samsung Electronics and Ace Technologies Corp, which are being sourced for the infrastructure rollout of RJIL
