Punjab Assigns New Roles to Three IAS Officers; Abhijeet Kaplish Gets PEDA Charge

The Punjab government has issued fresh postings for three IAS officers as part of an administrative reshuffle, bringing changes across the Punjab State Women Commission, energy development and higher education sectors.

Rishi Pal Singh Gets Women Commission Role

Rishi Pal Singh (2014 batch) has been appointed Member Secretary, Punjab State Women Commission.

In his new role, he will oversee the commission’s administrative functioning and coordinate its work with the concerned government departments.

Abhijeet Kaplish Appointed PEDA CEO

Abhijeet Kaplish (2015 batch) has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA).

Along with this responsibility, he will hold the additional charge of Director, Sports and Youth Services Department.

Sukhjit Pal Singh Moves to PAU

Sukhjit Pal Singh (2018 batch) has been transferred and posted as Registrar, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana.

He will oversee the university’s administrative affairs and support its institutional functioning.
