In a strategic move aimed at strengthening grassroots governance, the Vishnu Deo Sai-led Chhattisgarh government has implemented a minor administrative reshuffle, reassigning four IAS officers from the 2023 batch to pivotal field positions across the state. The General Administration Department (GAD) issued the official transfer orders on Monday.
This reshuffle is part of the state’s broader efforts to streamline administrative functioning and provide early field-level responsibilities to young officers. The newly appointed Sub-Divisional Officers (SDOs) are expected to gain critical hands-on experience in public service delivery, revenue administration, and law and order.
New Postings of 2023 Batch IAS Officers:
- Anupama Anand: From Assistant Collector, Raipur to SDO, Saraipali, Mahasamund
- M. Bhargava: From Assistant Collector, Durg to SDO, Dongargarh, Rajnandgaon
- Tanmay Khanna: From Assistant Collector, Bilaspur to SDO, Katghora, Korba
- Durga Prasad: From Assistant Collector, Janjgir-Champa to SDO, Gharghora, Raigarh
All four officers are currently in their Phase II postings after completing their foundational training and initial assignments as Assistant Collectors.
