In a recent development, T SN Gupta, a seasoned 1992 batch officer of the Indian Telecom Service (ITS), has assumed the pivotal role of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at Steel Authority of India (SAIL), a prestigious Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Steel.

Gupta, renowned for his significant contributions during a five-year tenure as Director at the Central Vigilance Commission, played a crucial role in enhancing vigilance mechanisms within the government, as stated by the company in an official release.
According to the company’s statement, Gupta boasts a career spanning over 23 years, during which he specialized in exchange installation, field operations, mobile operations, and personnel and training.
SAIL, a key player in the steel industry and operating under the Ministry of Steel, maintains an impressive annual installed capacity of over 20 million tonnes (MT), solidifying its position as a leading force in the country’s steel sector, the statement added.
