In a significant development on Tuesday, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) granted approval for the empanelment of more than 39 IPS officers to assume important positions at the Centre.
Details of the Empanelment:
Out of the 39 officers approved, four belong to the 1994 batch, while one officer each hails from the 1991 and 1993 batches, respectively.

Notably, a substantial number of officers—33 to be precise—are from the 1995 batch. Among them, 30 officers were empanelled for holding Additional Director General (ADG) or ADG Equivalent posts at the Centre.
