The Government of Punjab recently issued orders to appoint Dr Sukhchain Singh Gill (IPS:2003:PB) as nodal officer to the Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann. Gill, a 2003-Batch IPS officer, has been appointed in connection with regular status updation of the Chief Minister’s announcement regarding Punjab Police. At present, he is holding the charge of Inspector General (IG) of Police, Headquarters, Punjab.
