The Government of Tamil Nadu, on June 4, issued orders for the transfer of three IPS officers in the state.

1. Dr Prateep V Philip has been given the additional charge of Director General of Police (DGP), Training, Police Training College, Chennai. Presently, he is posted as DGP/Director, Tamil Nadu Police Academy, Chennai.
2. Abhash Kumar serving as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Civil Supplies CID, Chennai has been assigned the additional charge of ADGP, Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Chennai.
3. Vishwesh Balasubramaniam Shastri has been given the charge of Assistant Superintendent of Police (Asst. SP)/Aide-de Camp, Governor, Raj Bhawan.
