10 Officers Transferred in Uttar Pradesh; Sanyukta Samaddar Appointed Principal Secretary, Administrative Reforms

The Uttar Pradesh government under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued transfer and posting orders for two IAS officers and eight PCS officers. The orders were issued by the Department of Appointments and Personnel.

Key IAS Officer Changes

Amit Kumar Ghosh, currently serving as Principal Secretary, Secretariat Administration, has been entrusted with the additional charge of the Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, and Fisheries Department. These portfolios were earlier handled by Ravindra Nayak, who is retiring on May 31.

Sanyukta Samaddar, Principal Secretary, Political Pension, Civil Defence, Minority Welfare, and Muslim Waqf Department, has been given additional responsibilities as Principal Secretary, Administrative Reforms and Public Service Management Department, and Director, Administrative Reforms, along with her existing roles.

PCS Officer Transfers

Balram Singh, Additional District Magistrate (Administration), Meerut, has been appointed as the Chief Development Officer (CDO), Siddharth Nagar.


Satya Prakash Singh, Second CRO Mirzapur, is now posted as Additional District Magistrate (Administration), Meerut.

Devendra Pratap Singh, Second ADM Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply, Mirzapur, will now serve as CRO Mirzapur.

Vijayeta, Deputy Director, Local Bodies, Lucknow, has been posted as ADM Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply, Mirzapur.

Ajay Kumar Tripathi, Assistant Director, Local Bodies Directorate, Lucknow, has been promoted as Deputy Director, Local Bodies Directorate, Lucknow.

Arvind Kumar Singh, ADM Finance and Revenue, Bijnor, has been transferred to the same position in Deoria.

Vanya Singh, ADM Judicial, Bijnor, has been assigned as ADM Finance and Revenue, Bijnor.

Anshika Dixit, SDM Bijnor, has been promoted to ADM (Judicial), Bijnor.

These postings and promotions underline the state government’s focus on improving administrative efficiency and strengthening governance mechanisms at the district and departmental levels.
