To help ensure the smooth provision of services to people, the South Delhi Municipal Corporation has launched six new online applications related to areas such as filing property taxes and registering the births and deaths of residents, they said authorities on Thursday. This decision is part of the center’s Digital India initiative.

Since the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) is the central agency of the three companies, it has developed a website for citizens and employees. The website provides comprehensive information on the authorities, their services, work and other necessary information, it said in a statement.

On Thursday, the SDMC launched six new online submissions for the three companies to facilitate the smooth delivery of services related to filing property taxes, resident birth and death registration, general commerce, health commerce licenses and licenses for the trade of factories and mobile participation.

These applications are useful, efficient and provide transparency, according to the SDMC.
