Malaysia's smart card technology provider, Dibena Enterprise Sdn Bhd is keeping its eye on national-level smart card application projects and ICT-related projects in Indonesia. Recently, the company has partnered with Indonesia based company to encourage ICT facilities in the country.

 

Indonesian Government is working on projects like Europay-Mastercard-Visa (EMV), national e-Passport, national identity card, national driving license, congestion charging system and wireless city project. Dibena is expecting to support in two projects of Indonesia, including migration to EMV and the development of e-Passport for the public. The company has already participated in key projects of Malaysia like Government Multipurpose Card also known as MyKad, Malaysian Foreign Worker ID Card and Bahrain's national smart card. Now, company is planning to participate in Indonesia's EMV programme.
