Kiran Karnik, Chief of NASSCOM said that there are plenty of vested interests, which are inhibiting the growth e-Governance programme in the India.

The inhibiting factors are bribe-taking, loss of power and also fear of new technology. Benami (unauthorised landholders) landholders are not ready to adopt this technology out of fear.
