Vietnam to Improve IT sector
Prime Minister of Vietnam has approved a two-year plan (2009-10) to enhance information technology application at all government agencies. The plan also aims to create an online working environment among state agencies nationwide and get officials accustomed to working on the networking environment and computer-assisted systems instead of paper documents.
e-Procurement Adopted by Vietnam
The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Department of Public Procurement (Ministry of Planning and Investment) announced plans for the establishment of an electronic procurement system in Hanoi, Vietnam.
