640 mn households to have broadband by 2013
The demand for high bandwidth broadband will reach more than 640 million worldwide by 2013, says a report released by a research firm. It added that the number of broadband households worldwide grew by over 18% in 2008 to exceed 400 million.

With the start of the third phase from 2005-2008, Taiwan is stepping into the advanced e-Government stage. It is not just the issue of implementing e-Government programme, but is significantly more than that.
