Mobile phones which in itself is a revolution is joining yet another – the
Gurgaon and Faridabad all set to become Green Cities. Gurgaon and Faridabad in Haryana have been selected for development as solar/green cities under a scheme of the Union Ministry for New and Renewable Energy. In Principle approval has already been received for Gurgaon, it would be received soon for Faridabad as well.
Speaking in the Lok Sabha yesterday Minister of Communications and Information Technology, A. Raja informed that there are a total of 4.98 million Broadband subscribers in the country as on 31st October 2008. A list of State-wise number of Broadband subscribers is given below…
