Madhya Pradesh (MP) Forest Department has bagged the National e- Governance silver medal for its Fire Alert and Message System (FAMS). The award will be given away at the 12th National Conference on e- Governance in Goa on February 12, 2009, by the Information and Technology Department of Government of India.

Srei Sahaj has been mandated to roll out 5,565 Common Service Centres (CSCs) in Bihar. The company is an ICT based infrastructure provider in rural India in the area of e-Governance services, a subsidiary of Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited.
