In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has carried out significant transfers and appointments within the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).

The list of Transferred Officers:

• Akshat Verma, 2017 Batch IAS Officer, Appointed as New Municipal Commissioner of Varanasi
• Pulkit Garg, 2016 Batch IAS Officer, Takes Charge as Vice-Chairman of Varanasi Development Authority (VDA)
• Sipu Giri, 2017 Batch IAS Officer, Shifts to Special Secretary Role in Higher Education Department
• Satya Prakash, 2016 Batch IAS Officer, Assumes Office as Municipal Commissioner of Jhansi
• Deepa Ranjan, 2013 Batch IAS Officer, Named as Mission Director in National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM).
