The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIADI) has recently come up with offering a multi-colour PVC Aadhar Card with loads of security features imbibed. The cardholder can apply for their new cards (visiting card-size) PVC Aadhar card online following a few simple steps and paying a sum Rs 50.

Procedure to apply for the cards:

• Visit the official website –  https://residentpvc.uidai.gov.in/order-pvcreprint. Type in your Aadhar number and the security code given. This will generate and send a one-time password (OTP) to your registered mobile number.

  

• After feeding the OTP, it opens a page displaying your basic details mentioned in your Aadhar card. You need to verify your given details.

• Once verified one needs to click on the payment option and make an online payment of Rs 50. Payments can be made through various modes like UPI, credit/debit cards, etc.

• After payment is made you will get all the details of payments along with an SRN with which you can track the status of your PVC card.

• The Aadhar card will later be sent at your registered address via post.
