J&K’s Administrative Reshuffle: 5 IAS Officer Transferred

Following a recent order from the Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir issued on September 20, five IAS officers have been reshuffled of their charges.


  1. Bipul Pathak (1992-Batch IAS) has been made Principal Secretary, Science & Technology Department and Administrative Secretary, Social Welfare Department. Pathak will also be holding the additional charge of CEO, Jammu & Kashmir Energy Development Agency (JAKEDA).

  2. Shailendra Kumar (1995-Batch IAS) has been given the charge of Principal Secretary, Public Works Department (PWD).

  3. M Raju (2005-Batch IAS) has been posted as Secretary, Jal Shakti Department. Rau has also been allotted the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Estates and Civil Aviation Departments.


  4. Simrandeep Singh (2008-Batch IAS), at present, serving as Administrative Secretary, Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction with an additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Department of Food, Civil of Supplies & Consumer Affairs and Secretary, Public Grievances. Singh has been allocated the charge of Administrative Secretary, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, Information Technology Department and CEO, Jammu & Kashmir e-Governance Agency (JaKeGA), as additional charges to his present duties.

  5. Sarmad Hafeez (2009-Batch IAS) is to assume the charge of Administrative Secretary, Youth Services and Sports Department with the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Tourism and Culture Departments.
