Madhya Pradesh Govt. transfers 4 IPS officers

In another move for a minor bureaucratic rejig, the Government of Madhya Pradesh transferred four IPS officers of the rank of Inspector General (IG) of Police following the orders from the Home Department on September 20.

Chanchal Shekhar, IG of Rewa Zone has been transferred and given the charge of Visbal Jabalpur Range.

Umesh Joga, IG of Willbal Jabalpur Range has been allotted the charge of Rewa Zone.


Yogesh Deshmukh, IG (Administration) at Bhopal Police Headquarters has been appointed as IG Indore Zone.

Vivek Sharma, IG, Indore Zone has been transferred and posted at Bhopal Police Headquarters.
