In an attempt to overhaul the state’s administrative setup, the Jammu & Kashmir Government has reshuffled as many as 20 IAS officers. They are:

* Navin Kumar Choudhary, Commissioner/Secretary, Finance Department, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. He will also hold the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Finance Department, till further orders.

* Sundeep Kumar Nayak, Principal Secretary, Tourism Department has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to Agriculture Production Department, relieving Rakesh Kumar Gupta of the additional charge.

* Bipul Pathak, Commissioner/Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Chairman, J&K Special Tribunal, relieving Dr Arun Kumar of the additional charge.

* Ashok Parmar, Commissioner/Secretary, Tribal Affairs Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary-IT, Technical Education and YSS Department.

* Hirdesh Kumar, Commissioner/Secretary, Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services and Sports Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/ Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department.

* Vineeta Gupta, Officer on Special Duty, General Administration Department, has been be transferred and posted as Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, J&K.

* Sarita Chauhan, Commissioner / Secretary, Higher Education Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary, Social Welfare Department.

* Sanjeev Verma, IAS, Secretary, Social Welfare Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary, PHE/ Irrigation and Flood Control Department relieving Rohit Kansal of the additional charge.

* Saurab Bhagat, Secretary, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Tribal Affairs Department.

* Hemant Sharma, Secretary, Culture Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary of Higher Education Department.

* Hilal Ahmad Parray, Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, J&K has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, J&K Housing Board.

* Dilshad Khan, Commissioner of Enquiries, J&K has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Culture Department.

* Shafiq Ahmad Raina, Managing Director, J&K Housing Board has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department, the spokesperson said.

* Sajjad Ahmad Khan, Special Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Enquiries, J&K.

* Tasneem Majid, Special Secretary, Power Development Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities against available vacancy.

* Farooq Ahmad Shah, Managing Director, JKTDC will hold the additional charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Tourism Department.

* Sushma Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner, Reasi has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.

* Syed Abid Rashid, Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag.

* Ravinder Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Reasi.

* Mohammad Aijaz, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Ramban.
