‘Telangana aims to provide internet to each household’

jayesh ranjanThe Telangana government aims to provide internet connectivity to each household in the state, IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan said.

“The state government is trying to ensure internet connectivity to each household under the ‘Digital Telangana’ initiative. We are trying to make it possible in different ways through broadband connectivity, 4G, Wi-Fi and e-panchayats,” Ranjan said.

According to report, the state government is working on laying optic fibre to every household.

Private telecom players are also being encouraged to rollout 4G services.
