In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Chhattisgarh government has transferred 41 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including 11 District Collectors. The order, issued by Rajat Kumar, Secretary of the General Administration Department, aims to infuse fresh leadership and streamline governance across districts and departments.

Key Transfers and Appointments:

• Awanish Sharan (2009 batch): Transferred from Bilaspur Collector to Commissioner, Town and Country Planning, with additional charge as Commissioner, Chhattisgarh Housing Board (CGHB).
• Kartikeya Goel (2010 batch): Moved from Raigarh Collector to Director, Chhattisgarh Civil Supplies Corporation & Consumer Protection; also appointed MD, Chhattisgarh State Warehousing Corporation.
• Mayank Chaturvedi: Transferred from Dantewada Collector to Raigarh Collector.
• Rajat Bansal: Former Commissioner MNREGA and Director, PM Awas Yojana-Gramin, now Director, Geology and Mining; also appointed MD, Chhattisgarh State Mineral Development Corporation and Special Secretary, Good Governance and Convergence.
• Sanjay Agrawal: Transferred from Rajnandgaon Collector to Bilaspur Collector.
• Kundan Kumar: Appointed Mungeli Collector, transferred from CGHB Commissioner.
• Rahul Dev: Former Mungeli Collector, now Joint Secretary, Agriculture Department.
• Ajay Kumar Agrawal: Director of Public Relations, now Managing Director, Chhattisgarh Rajya Beej Evam Krishi Vikas Nigam.

Additionally, Collectors of the following districts have been reshuffled: Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, Balod, Gariaband, Janjgir-Champa, Kondagaon, and Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai (KCG).
