The Chhattisgarh government has executed a major administrative reshuffle, assigning key IAS officers to new roles to enhance departmental coordination and efficiency.
- C R Prasanna (2004-batch IAS officer), currently serving as Secretary, Co-operatives, has been appointed as Secretary to the Governor.
- S Prakash (2005-batch IAS officer) has been designated Secretary, Transport, with an additional charge as Commissioner, Transport.
- Yashwant Kumar (2007-batch IAS officer) has been assigned the role of Secretary, Village Industries, along with additional responsibility as Secretary, Parliamentary Works Department.
Assam: Ashwani Kumar to Lead Digital Transformation as DITEC Director
Ashwani Kumar, a 2010-batch IAS officer of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre, has been appointed as the Director of the Directorate of Information Technology, Electronics & Communication (DITEC). His leadership is expected to drive key initiatives in e-governance, cybersecurity, and digital innovation across the state.

Punjab: Vivek Pratap Singh Appointed Principal Secretary to Governor
Vivek Pratap Singh, a 1996-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary to Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria. Known for his extensive experience in governance and administration, Singh will initially work alongside IAS officer Kakumanu Siva Prasad before assuming full charge following Prasad’s departure.
