Eight Mega Industrial Units in Uttar Pradesh Get Cabinet Nod for Incentives

Projects Represent Investment of Over ₹2,901 Crore Across Seven Districts

The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has approved recommendations to issue Letters of Comfort (LoCs) to eight mega-category industrial units under the Uttar Pradesh Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy-2022. The projects involve a proposed investment of ₹2,901.97 crore across seven districts of the state.

The eight units will be eligible for policy-based incentives, including net SGST and capital subsidy, subject to their eligibility under the policy. The proposals were considered at the meeting of the High-Level Empowered Committee (HLEC) held on May 4, 2026, which recommended them for Cabinet approval.

The approved projects include Surya Global Superflexifilms Pvt Ltd, which has proposed an investment of ₹605.37 crore in Gautam Buddh Nagar; Shalvis Specialities Ltd, ₹297.30 crore in Hamirpur; and Sound Castings Pvt Ltd, ₹225 crore in Hathras. Vrindavan Bottlers Pvt Ltd has proposed an investment of ₹436.12 crore in Barabanki, while Zuari Envien Bioenergy Pvt Ltd has proposed ₹294.72 crore in Lakhimpur Kheri.

The other projects include Paswara Papers Ltd with a proposed investment of ₹315 crore in Hathras, CRD Foods and Beverages Ltd with ₹363.94 crore in Mathura, and Mount Everest Breweries Ltd with ₹363.52 crore in Unnao.

The projects are expected to support industrial and manufacturing activity in the respective districts and create direct and indirect employment opportunities. The incentives are aimed at encouraging large-scale industrial investment and supporting the establishment and expansion of industrial units in the state.
