Senior IAS officer K. Vijayanand has taken charge as the Ex-Officio Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, marking an important administrative development in the state government.

Vijayanand assumed office at the State Secretariat in Vijayawada soon after completing his tenure as the Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh. The state government decided to continue utilising his vast administrative experience by appointing him to the Chief Minister’s Office in a key advisory and coordination role.

Supporting Governance and Policy Implementation`

In his new position, Vijayanand will assist the Chief Minister’s Office in coordinating with various government departments and monitoring the implementation of important development programmes. His role will focus on ensuring smoother administrative functioning and faster execution of government initiatives.

With decades of experience in public administration, Vijayanand is expected to provide strategic guidance on policy decisions and governance priorities.

Over the years, Vijayanand has held several important positions in the state administration and has been closely associated with key governance and development projects.
