In a move aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency and enhancing governance delivery, the Madhya Pradesh government has ordered a major reshuffle involving the transfer of 18 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. The late-night overhaul on Monday comes shortly after the transfer of 14 officers, marking a clear signal of strategic reorganisation by the state administration.

Key Promotions and Strategic Postings

  • Vishesh Garhpale (2008 batch) has been appointed Secretary, Energy Department, underlining the state’s focus on power sector reforms and efficiency.

  • Vandana Vaidya (2009 batch), earlier associated with tribal welfare and employment training, has been named Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Finance Corporation, Indore. Her previous roles will be reassigned.

District Panchayat CEOs: Wide-Scale Reshuffle

  • Gajendra Singh Nagesh (2016 batch) shifted from Singrauli to Narsinghpur as CEO, District Panchayat.

  • Dalip Kumar, earlier CEO, Narsinghpur, takes over as Commissioner, Dewas Municipal Corporation.

  • Tapasya Parihar (2018 batch), CEO, Chhatarpur District Panchayat, has been appointed Commissioner, Katni Municipal Corporation.

Urban Development and Smart City Changes

  • Divyank Singh (2017 batch), CEO, Indore Smart City, is now Additional Commissioner, Urban Administration and Development Department, Bhopal.

  • Arth Jain (2021 batch) takes charge as CEO, Indore Smart City and Additional Commissioner, Indore Municipal Corporation.

  • Anju Arun Kumar, CEO, Bhopal Smart City, has been given additional charge as Additional Commissioner, Bhopal Municipal Corporation.

  • Anisha Srivastava (2021 batch) becomes Executive Director, Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation, Gwalior.
  • Shreyans Kumawat (2019 batch) has been appointed CEO, District Panchayat, Ujjain.
  • Tanmay Vashisht Sharma (2021 batch) takes over as CEO, District Panchayat, Bhopal.

New Roles in Chief Minister’s Office (CMO)

  • Guru Prasad (2017 batch), earlier associated with IT and cybersecurity, has been promoted as Deputy Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office. He also served as Managing Director, State Wide Area Network (SWAN).

State Administrative Service (SAS) Officers Reassigned

  • Anil Bhana, Land Management Officer, Ratlam, elevated as Commissioner, Ratlam Municipal Corporation.

  • Shringar Srivastava, District Panchayat CEO, Ratlam, is now Additional Commissioner, Indore Municipal Corporation.
