Himachal Pradesh reshuffles 5 Senior IAS Officers; A. Shainamol Gets Additional Charge of AYUSH

In a bid to enhance administrative efficiency, the Himachal Pradesh government has reshuffled five senior IAS officers following recommendations from the Civil Services Board.


2007-batch IAS officer A. Shainamol, currently Secretary (Administrative Reforms, Training, Foreign Affairs, and Public Grievance Redressal), has been given additional charge as Secretary (AYUSH).

Rakhil Kahlon (2008 batch) moves from AYUSH to become Secretary (Digital Technologies & Governance and Jal Shakti) on a substantive basis.

Richa Verma (2012 batch), MD of the State Handicrafts and Handloom Corporation, will now also head the State Industrial Development Corporation (SIDC), with Rajeshwar Goyal relieved of the additional charge. Ritika (2019 batch), Director of Land Records, has been appointed Additional Store Controller in the Industries Department.


Abhishek Verma (2018 batch) takes over as Director, Land Records, while Dr. Nipun Jindal (2014 batch) retains his role as Director, Digital Technologies & Governance, with the added responsibility of MD, Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC).

The reshuffle order was issued by Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena (1990 batch).
