The Karnataka government has announced a series of IAS officer transfers with immediate effect. Key appointments include:

- Darshan H. V., IAS (KN: 2016) – Moved from Director, Information Technology & Biotechnology, Bengaluru, to Additional Commissioner for Commercial Taxes (Service Analysis Wing), Bengaluru, relieving Chandrashekhar Nayaka L., IAS.
- Gayathri K. M., IAS (KN: 2016) – Transferred from CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Mysuru, to Chief Operating Officer (Operations), National Livelihood Mission (NLM), Bengaluru, relieving Ramachandran R., IAS.
- Akshy Sridhar, IAS (KN: 2017) – Shifted from CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Haveri, to Deputy Secretary to Government, DPAR (Services), Bengaluru, replacing Ukesh Kumar S., IAS.
- Padma Basavanthappa, IAS (KN: 2017) – Posted as Director, Social Audit, Rural Development & Panchayat Raj Department, Bengaluru.
- Ukesh Kumar S., IAS (KN: 2018) – Transferred from Deputy Secretary, DPAR (Services), Bengaluru, to CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Mysuru, replacing Gayithri K. M., IAS.
- Rahul Sharanappa Sankanur, IAS (KN: 2019) – Moved from CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Ballari, to Director, Information Technology & Biotechnology, Bengaluru, replacing Darshan H. V., IAS.
- Ruchi Bindal, IAS (KN: 2020) – Shifted from Deputy Secretary, Department of Electronics, IT, BT, & S&T, Bengaluru, to CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Haveri, replacing Akshy Sridhar, IAS.
- Daljeet Kumar, IAS (KN: 2021) – Assigned as Deputy Secretary to Government, Department of Electronics, IT, BT, & S&T, Bengaluru, replacing Ruchi Bindal, IAS.
- MD Haris Sumair, IAS (KN: 2021) – Transferred from Deputy Project Director, HRMS 2.0, Finance Department, Bengaluru, to CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Ballari, replacing Rahul Sharanappa Sankanur, IAS.

Additionally, five positions have been equated to the Director of Municipal Administration cadre post under Rule 12 of the IAS (Pay) Rules, 2016.
