Revolutionising Governance through AI: Custom GPTs for Enhanced Administration

In the ever-evolving landscape of governance, leveraging cutting-edge technologies has become imperative. As the CEO of the Zilla Parishad in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, I have focused on integrating AI-driven tools, specifically customised GPT (Generative Pre-Trained Transformers) models, to streamline and enhance various aspects of administration. These innovative models have transformed our approach to governance, making processes more efficient, transparent, and impactful. Below, I detail the working, benefits, and potential uses of these customised GPTs and suggest additional models that could further revolutionise governance.

1. Election Training GPT

Working: This model provides comprehensive training for election officers by creating sample mock tests in MCQ formats covering all aspects of the election training handbook. It also offers a ready reference software for immediate query resolution.

Benefits: Ensures thorough training and preparedness of polling officers, reducing errors and enhancing the efficiency of the election process.

Potential Uses: This model can be adapted for training staff in other administrative functions beyond elections, ensuring consistent and high-quality training across departments.

2. Civic Engagement GPT (Figure 2, 3 & 4)

Working: This model converts government schemes into engaging content, promoting behaviour change by analysing key indicators that lead to specific behaviours. It tailors its approach to the unique needs of each village, addressing issues like child marriages, tobacco use, and malnutrition.

Benefits: It increases public awareness and participation in government schemes, drives positive behaviour change, and improves community health and well-being.

Potential Uses: Can be used for public health campaigns, awareness drives, and other government initiatives, ensuring that messages are effectively communicated and resonate with the target audience.

3. Arbitration Insight

Working: Analyzes legal documents and provides advice on arbitration matters, ensuring accurate and fair resolutions. For revenue court cases, ZP-related cases, and quasijudicial issues, statements of both parties and evidence documents can be uploaded to generate a draft order, which the competent authority can verify before final issuance.

Benefits: Reduces the time and cost associated with legal disputes, enhancing the efficiency of legal proceedings.

Potential Uses: Can be expanded to cover other legal areas, such as contract law and compliance, providing comprehensive legal support across various domains.

4. Procurement Advisor

Working: Evaluates procurement options and provides recommendations based on cost, quality, and compliance with government policies. It is a ready reference for CVC guidelines, General Financial Rules, GEM portal guidelines, etc.

Benefits: Ensures transparent and efficient procurement processes, reducing the risk of fraud and corruption. Potential Uses: Government departments and public sector undertakings can use it to standardise procurement practices and enhance accountabilit

5. GR Translator GPT

6. AI-based Teaching Solution for Kids

Working: Translates government resolutions from Marathi to English and provides page-by-page, section-by-section summaries of long GRs and policies. It highlights potential conflicts with other rules/policies and identifies applications for better implementation and coverage.

Benefits: Improves accessibility of government documents for non-Marathi speakers and enhances staff training. Potential Uses: It can be expanded to cover other regional languages, making it a valuable tool for diverse linguistic contexts and improving understanding of government policies.
