In a significant reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh government has transferred 10 IPS officers, marking another wave of administrative changes following the recent movement of over 40 senior IAS officers. Meenakshi Sharma, a 1995-batch IPS officer who was serving as Additional Police Commissioner in Bhopal, will now assume the role of Additional Police Commissioner for Community Policing and oversee the RTI department at the Police Headquarters.
Irshad Wali, a 2004-batch IPS officer previously holding the post of Inspector General (IG) of the Narmadapuram division, has been reassigned to the Police Headquarters in Bhopal as IG. In his place, Mithlesh Kumar Shukla, a 2006-batch IPS officer who served as IG of the Gwalior Range, will take over as the new IG of the Narmadapuram division.
Tushar Kant Vidyarthi, a 2009-batch IPS officer formerly Additional IG in Jabalpur, has been transferred to the Police Headquarters in Bhopal, with Atul Singh, also a 2009-batch IPS officer, stepping in as Additional IG in Jabalpur.

Further appointments include Ajay Pandey (2012-batch IPS) as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Chhindwara. Ramji Shrivastava (2013-batch IPS) and Manish Khatri (2016-batch IPS) have been assigned as SPs of Shahdol and Singrauli districts, respectively.
